A cinematic masterpiece. A must see for anyone who loves movies. One of the staple mark films of our generation. Move over Steve Spielberg, there's a new film maker in town. It makes us laugh and cry in a matter of seconds. A true representation of art at it's finest.
Though the animation was decent (although bland) the short doesn't even reach run-of-the-mill status. With a lack of color, in which I will attribute to a sparsity of effort rather than a creative choice, and a dull single instrument soundtrack, the short drags us through a painfully linear storyline with no punchline. NO PUNCHLINE. The author seems to miss the entire point and structure of comedy, and everyone is taking this dildo of animation up the ass with a grin simply because it is featured on the front page. So my advice to the author: don't bother animating something without a complete and original story.
The jokes about the tip and college were spot on. But the gay jokes were pretty tactless, pointless, and rather offensive. Put in a joke where it's deserved. Don't push your repressed homophobia onto newgrounds.
It was original, but I found the style to be somewhat distracting. Without a good video card, the non-vector elemants were at a crawl pace, and being this is a flash portal, I'd say to use as much vector as possible. The actual poetry was emotional, but I found it to be somewhat pretentious. Don't confuse deep poetry with a string of dark phrases. I really liked the music. It fit the tone of the piece and was a pleasure to the ears. So overall, if was a better than average flash, but It could've done better.
"Are you mad? Are you fucking deranged?" So funny. How did you ever come up with a druggy violent lion with an upperclass british accent? I wish you'd continue.
This this the first episode I've seen of this series. Jeez, it was long. But length is quite uncommon on this website, so it's a welcome difference. The dialogue was pretty funny. I laughed so hard when Thor sang like the Majora mask giant. So funny. "I'm a sassy bitch!" lmao. And "It's like that new Zelda game, except there isn't some midget riding me..." And the end credits. Overall, it takes some waiting, but it gets funnier as you stick to it.
You somehow managed to base an entire cartoon on gay jokes and it didn't seem all that offensive... that's some bizzare talent... You certainly have the guts to animate things that other's wouldn't. Congrats. And your voice is so one of a kind, you should really get into voice acting, or whoever you have doing the voice of Leonitis (and, of course, the tankmen).
Not that you'll ever see this, but I'll say it anyway. What the hell? The last Chapters 8 and 9 look completely different from all the previous, and there quality is substantially less. And what is with changing Zoe's desing all of the sudden? You can't do that. You made eight chapters of basically the same design and all of the sudden she has no eye? And the new gradient shading on Zoe just looks tacky. Killing Cerberus and Nephty's? What kind of a hack job writer are you? It doesn't even fit into any story structure. It's just dissappointing. Oh and "Buy the book!" You freaking sell-out. I know you have to make your money, but you wasted an hour or more animating a desperate plea for money. What was once the greatest Flash Series on the internet has now become another piece of commercial bullshit. And I don't care what you say within your cartoon, it's too short. Yes, I know it takes forever to make. I animate too. But I would have rather waited and seen a complete episode then gotten this piece of mediocrity shoved in my face. What was once one of the most innovative projects on the internet is now garbage. This makes me sick.
It's not just the Flash skills. There's better animation out there. But I enjoy this more than any other cartoon on the web, because of the writing. It was beautiful. I began tearing up when Zoe had to say goodbye. THIS should be in the number one spot in the portal. YuYu is cool, but lacks overall plot. Tankmen is shameless newgrounds related comedy/parody. FFA+ ? It's not even original!
This has heart. This has soul. This feels like a professional movie, but still has the heart of a hopeful Flash artist. After this FLash saga, Xombie is going to be big. Xombie will be a movie, Xombie will be on TV, Xombie will have action figures.
This is the greatest series on the internet. The best Flash in the WORLD. This is going to be huge, and I'll do everything I can to help. I'll buy Xombie T-shirts, I'll e-mail James Farr. I will go to the Xombie booth at ComicCon. And I'll do other things. I can't wait for the rest of this FLash series, and I can't wait til it goes world wide.

Mediocre at best.

It was okay, but a bit tactless

It was original, but I found the style to be somewhat distracting. Very interesting...

Xombie is the best Flash in the WORLD
